Traditions

Thankful For Our Traditions

Traditions are a big part of the holiday season for our family. Traditions bring sweet memories of our childhood, time spent with our loved ones past.
Everyone has their own special traditions and I love to learn of new ones that you celebrate and hear what traditions you have in your family, like ones passed down, generation after generation.  Please share with me some of your traditions.
The smell of oranges and cloves always reminds me of Christmas.

 Perfect for the holiday season!

Clove Studded Oranges are a Scandinavian tradition based on their affinity for `pomanders`, which are round potpourri balls. Started this tradition from
my husbands family making them during the Christmas time.  Do you cover your oranges in studded cloves? It is fun to do with the kiddos.  You can help them with the holes by using a toothpick to pierce the skin.  Cloves should fit snugly in.  Everyone can be creative decorating their oranges with cloves.

Delicious Caramel Candies

I love anything caramel. It's delicious on its own or pairs well with chocolate or anything salty.   Warning these can be addictive...
